Early and accurate diagnosis of critical illnesses is hard to achieve. Statistics involving diseases like diabetes and cardiovascular diseases is frightening. Diabetes is India’s fastest growing disease. 72 million cases were recorded in 2017 and the number is expected to double by 2025. The death rate due to cardiovascular diseases in India increased by 34% from 115.7 to 209.1 deaths per one lakh population between 1990 and 2016. The number of people affected by Alzheimer’s is growing rapidly in India. India accounts for approximately 10% of the over 50 million Alzheimer’s cases worldwide.

We at Candiphi aim to bring healthcare to the home and help people live healthier and happier lives. We are building a software platform for the early detection of critical illnesses like cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular diseases. Our platform uses machine learning and deep learning at its core and has a flexible and open architecture that allows it to integrate with various types of diagnostic hardware.The diagnostic and wellness part of our platform will be rolled out in the form of a m-Health tele-diagnostic and telemedicine platform across urban and rural India.
